Creator Q&A
Tell us about yourself
Hi, I'm Geo: mother, voiceover artist and former HR manager. I started writing stories while working for a large corporation, as a way to reconnect with my grandparents and the simple and authentic life of the countryside where I grew up.
We moved to the countryside when our son was born. I started writing and recording stories for him - some even with him. Now I write for all children who need to know about this sweet and authentic world, and for parents who want to remember their grandparents and the countryside where they spent their summer vacations.
What inspired you to make this title(s)?
My childhood in the countryside with my grandparents, the animals that were my best friends, and the sweet memories I treasure from those years.
"My stories help children develop their imagination, care and love for animals, while helping parents enjoy a few quiet moments"
Who do you imagine listening to your audio?
Children of all ages who need to know about the countryside and want to connect with nature and animals. And parents who wish to remember their childhood years. My stories help children develop their imagination, care and love for animals, while helping parents enjoy a few quiet moments in the house or while on the road. They also help children and parents bond as the stories are suitable for bedtime.
Is there anything different about making audio for Yoto?
Yoto is a great opportunity to make my stories available to a much larger audience.
What’s next?
10 volumes are already available and currently I am working on three more...
